In addition to monitoring the micro-credit program, the monthly meetings provide the perfect platform for CP Nepal to host workshops on topics such as domestic abuse, mental health, literacy, sanitation/hygiene and menstruation awareness.   

 

The Mothers Groups not only impact individual families but the region at large by changing the status of women from submissive dependants to empowered decision-makers focused on the betterment of their community.
